Dansk named to Sweden’s preliminary roster for World Juniors

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that goaltender Oscar Dansk has been selected by the Sweden Ice Hockey Association to be included on the preliminary roster for the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship.

 

Dansk, a second round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets, is in his first season in the OHL with the Otters. In 25 games, Dansk has a 3.64 goals-against-average and .905 save percentage for the Otters.

 

A native of Stockholm, Dansk has represented Sweden in various international tournaments, most recently leading Team Sweden to a silver medal at the 2012 Under-18 Hockey Championships.
