The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that they are offering the “Eat for 50 Cents” deal for people looking to purchase tickets to the home opener weekend of October 5.
For just 50 cents more than the day of game price of a ticket, fans can buy a special package that includes a ticket to the game for either the home opener on Friday, October 5 against the Brampton Battalion or the following game on Saturday, October 6 against the London Knights and a voucher good for a hot dog, soft drink and popcorn. Adult ticket packages are $15.00 each and children’s tickets are $10.50.
The tickets are good for any seat (gold or platinum) at Erie Insurance Arena, and must be purchased in advance through the Otters office at 814-455-7779. The “Eat for 50 Cents” offer is good until individual game tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 4.
The 10th annual Erie Otters Champions for Education Golf Tournament will be held Wednesday, September 12 at Peek’n Peak Resort and Spa’s Lower Course in Findley Lake, N.Y. The 11:00 a.m. shotgun tournament will offer golfers an opportunity to play with a member of the Otters (current or alumni) on one of the Erie-area’s most picturesque and challenging courses. The benefactor of the Tournament is the Erie Otters Education Fund, which supports The Brad Boyes Scholarship, awarded annually to a local male high school athlete who excels on and off the playing field. Registration for the tourney is $150 per player and includes golf with a GPS-equipped cart, lunch, snacks and beverages on the course, dinner following golf, prizes and much, much more.
