Otters at NHL Rookie Tournaments

There’s a chill in the air here in Erie, which means hockey is around the corner. The Otters have already completed their training camp and first batch of preseason games, and as that passes the NHL begins their camp season. NHL teams have filled their rookie camp rosters for tournaments across the league. Among the 31 NHL teams, the Erie Otters will be represented on 11 different team rosters.
Of the 15 Otters headed to NHL teams, six of them are returning members of the 2017 OHL Championship Team, including Minnesota Wild 3rd round pick Ivan Lodnia. Three Otters received free agent invites to attend camps including Troy Timpano (Pittsburgh Penguins), Owen Headrick (Boston Bruins), and Kyle Maksimovich (Chicago Blackhawks).
