ERIE ACQUIRES FUTURE PICK IN EXCHANGE FOR PROSPECT

Erie, Pennsylvania – On Trade Deadline Day across the Ontario Hockey League, the Erie Otters announce an exchange that gives the team an additional pick in next year’s Priority Selection Draft.

Erie sends prospect Alex Bradshaw, the team’s 12th Round Pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft, to the Flint Firebirds in exchange for their 13th Round Pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

Bradshaw, while never appearing in a game with Erie, participated in this year’s Training Camp with the Otters on Team Red. He is currently a Forward for the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Powassan Voodoos.

We wish Alex the utmost success in his future endeavors.

Notable 13th Round Picks for the Erie Otters include:

  • Connor Brown (251st Overall, 2010) – Former Otters’ Captain, NHL Forward
  • Maxim Golod (261st Overall, 2016) – Former Otters’ Rookie of the Year, AHL Forward

The Otters return home for the first time in over a month on Thursday, January 13 at 7 P.M. as the team hosts the Firebirds.
