Help Assistant Coach Wes Wolfe and the American Cancer Society During his Real Men Wear Pink Campaign

Erie Otters assistant coach Wes Wolfe will be taking part in the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink Campaign this October in order to help raise awareness and fight breast cancer.

Every day during the month of October, Wes will incorporate the color pink into his daily outfits in an effort to raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer initiatives, including innovative research, patient services, and education around screenings and risk reduction.

“I take great pride in being able to utilize the platform given to me to make a difference in the community,” said Wolfe. “The Real Men Wear Pink campaign is a leadership role I am excited about because of the work the American Cancer Society is doing in research, screening, treatment and patient services. Cancer affects all of us in one way or another, and I am looking forward to helping raise money and bring even more awareness to the work the ACS is doing.”

To assist Wes Wolfe’s campaign and achieve his goal of $5,000.00, the Otters have planned supplementary initiatives that will directly support his fundraiser. Throughout October the Otters will sell limited edition pink themed merchandise, hold a memorabilia raffle, and will announce partnerships with local business supporters.
