Northwest Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center is a non-profit organization committed to helping communities in Northwest Pennsylvania meet their primary health care needs and enhance the quality of health in our region especially the rural and underserved communities.

‘AHEC’ maintains partnerships with community, government, and educational agencies and institutions that will connect students to careers, professionals to communities and communities to better health.

The United Way of Erie County and the Erie Otters team up for Imagination Library Night! Celebrating the upcoming “Month of Million”, where the UWEC’s Imagination Library program will donate its One-Millionth free book to an Erie-area child, this a night recognizing the program in its nine-year existence! Wednesday night is all about encouraging the joy of reading! The first 100 kids through the doors will receive a free Imagination Library book. There will be additional chances for kids to get books throughout the night, too! Make sure you’re in your seats during the first intermission, you may just have a chance to get a free United Way of Erie County tee shirt!

Give More, Get More! As a part of our continued community-holiday initiatives, fans will have the chance to ‘enter to win’ a team-signed Imagination Library Book. Each entry is $5, with all proceeds going to benefit United Way of Erie County. It’s the third meeting of the season between Erie and its rival London Knights. The Otters are 2-0 against the Knights thanks to 3-1/6-3 victories earlier in the season. London has won nine of their last 10 coming into Wednesday. Make sure you stop by the Harrell Automotive Fan Assistance Center to enter our Jersey Raffle at the game!

As the United Way of Erie County prepares to celebrate its Month of Million in December, why not be part of their next million?! Learn more about your child can get a free book every month from birth to age five HERE. Fans attending the game should be aware of items not allowed at the Erie Insurance Arena during Erie Otters games. This includes professional photography equipment (unless given expressed consent) and noise-makers (cowbells, stadium horns, etc.). For additional banned items, see signs at points of entry. Season Ticket Holder doors open at 5:15, while doors for the General Public open at 5:30. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 P.M.
