Otters Select Jamie Drysdale Fourth Overall

Erie, Pennsylvania – With the fourth overall choice in the 2018 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection the Erie Otters are pleased to select defenseman Jamie Drysdale from the Toronto Marlboros.


Drysdale, a 5’11”, 158-pound defenseman, was named the GTHL Player of the Year for the 2017-18 season. The 15-year-old appeared in 57 games for the Toronto Marlboros, recording eight goals, 42 assists for 50 points on the campaign. The Toronto, Ontario native served on the Marlboros leadership team wearing a letter throughout the year.



Erie Otters General Manager Dave Brown will address the media following the conclusion of the fifth round of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. Attending media can assemble at the Erie Insurance Arena in locker room three for media access.
