Join the Erie Otters and our community partners for our first ever virtual community 3K walk, run, or ride! The Erie Otters organization strongly believes physical and mental wellness are important pillars of a healthy lifestyle. This event is tailored for everyone in the Erie community to participate and get outside for light exercise as we all stay #ErieStrong!
There is no cost to participate and all participants over the weekend will be eligible entered to win great Otters prizes! Simply download any fitness tracking mobile app to track your run times and activity. We encourage fans to share videos of their activity and screenshots of their times posted with the hashtag #OttersCommunity3K and tagging the team’s accounts. The Otters will share these posts on our website and Otters social media channels.
Participants are encouraged to walk, run, or ride the 3K around their homes, yards, or neighborhoods between May 22-24, 2020 and are advised to follow their local government and CDC guidelines as well as the following safety measures:
- Practice social distance while running
- Avoid using public water fountains, restrooms, and touching cross walk buttons
- Stay home if you are not feeling well
